Join Pilot Flying J as a CreditCoordinator

The purpose of this job is to provideadministrative functions to support deal processing and the Credit team.


·   Provide deal processing functions for the Creditteam to include the evaluation and processing of credit reviews, creditinformation management, entering customer data in the Credit billing system,and

·   the administration of applications and otherrequired paperwork

·   Proactively provide support and assistance tothe Credit team by reviewing all customer deals and agreements, and identifyingconcerns with credit application documentation and daily billing activities

·   Support invoicing of direct bill (DB) and fleetcustomer accounts

·   Maintain client files and perform Ascend accountmaintenance to include updates to customer information, billing serviceinformation, account statuses, and account security

·   Track deals at various stages of the process andensure expedient movement to completion

·   Coordinate with Sales Department to ensuretimely credit approval as well as anticipate, track and resolve customer creditissues

·   Collaborate with cross-functional teamsincluding Accounts Receivable, Technology, Sales, billing card companies, storeTeam Members and other departments as needed

·   Assist with implementation and testing of newprograms and technology

·   Model behaviors that support the company’scommon purpose; ensure guests and team members are supported at the highestlevel

·   Ensure all activities are in compliance withrules and regulations

·   Complete other duties as assigned


·   High school diploma or equivalent certificaterequired

·   Bachelor’s degree or a minimum of two years’experience in a credit support position required

·   Basic level Microsoft Office skills required;intermediate level MS Office skills preferred

·   Beginner level CRM (preferred Salesforce) skillspreferred

·   Knowledge of key concepts and terminology usedin the trucking industry preferred

·   Knowledge of Pilot Flying J’s products andofferings preferred

·   Ability to set priorities, multitask and meetdeadlines in a fast paced, dynamic environment

·   Excellent written and verbal communicationskills

·   Strong organizational skills with attention todetail

·   Excellent customer services skills and abilityto communicate in a professional manner with others on the phone, in person orby email

·   Strong interpersonal and listening skills withthe ability to influence, negotiate and problem solve

·   Ability to quickly learn new technology and usetechnology to accomplish tasks

·   Ability to work in a team environment and builda strong internal network
