An adjuster I will learn the claims handling process and develop skills to examine, investigate, and resolve liability claims. An adjuster I will primarily handle claims concerning customer property damage and Pilot property damage. The adjuster I will also examine and investigate guest behavior type claims and will be introduced to handling a limited number of bodily injury claims as skills develop.
In this role you will:
- Examine and investigate customer property damage claims as well as Pilot property damage claims
- Maintain an efficient diary of pending claims with an emphasis on continuous improvement of individual claim closure rate
- Develop an understanding of the investigation process, seeking guidance from adjuster II's, senior adjusters, and management
- Perform other required duties based on the needs of the team
- High school diploma or equivalent certification required
