Pay Rates Starting between: $17.70 - $29.25 / hour
The purpose of this job is to support general business operations by providing essential clerical and administrative duties for the department.
- Provide administrative and clerical support for department or business units including filing, typing, copying, scanning, etc.
- Maintain relationships with customer service, billing, dispatch, and other necessary departments.
- Handles End of Shift (EOS) reviews and corrections for the SD and Imperial regions which includes daily reconciliation of driver inventories to match company records.
- Works with drivers and office staff to manage the locations inventory and ensure it matches with PDI transactions.
- Ensures rational distribution and delivery according to analysis report and tracking records.
- Complete data entry and maintain current information in department databases
- Ensure all information in department files is current and accurate on a day-to-day basis.
- Assists in the truck technology dept with Handhelds, Barcodes,
- Model behaviors that support the company’s common purpose; ensure guests and team members are supported at the highest level.
- Assists as backup for the front desk walk in customers and when primary is not available.
- Greet and assist walk in customers. This includes invoice processing, payment processing and answering basic customer questions regarding products including package sizes, availability and pricing
- Prepare daily bank deposits, balancing with daily revenue receipts. Responsible for cash boxes balancing with daily receipts and deposits. Maintain appropriate levels of currency to make change for cash purchases.
- Support office personnel and guests however possible and maintain company values
- Utilizes PDI and receives cash and card payments from customers who purchase products at our card lock in El Cajon.
- Assist in Inventory of products to ensure all transactions are mirrored with the inventory.
- High School diploma
- Valid CA commercial driver license and a minimum of two years’ professional driving experience preferred.
Specialized Knowledge
- Must have working knowledge of Department of Transportation regulations.
- Must have working knowledge of warehousing and logistics procedures and policies.
- Experience with hazardous materials, lube products, and dispatching is preferred.

- Must have a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Must possess excellent organizational skills and the ability to multi-task.
- Must possess excellent customer service skills, including telephone communication.
- Must be able to read, spell, write, and comprehend English at an intermediate level.
- Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office products, GPS tracking system, video monitoring system, and tank monitoring system.
- Must have the ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed instructions and to deal with problems and situations as they arise.
