The purpose of this job is to build, configure, test, and maintain store and corporate network infrastructures and systems, monitor network performance, and provide Level two stores and corporate network support.
- Provide technical expertise in the management of the store and corporate private networks; test and analyze routers, switches, lines, modems, adapters
- Understand network diagrams with the ability to create, change or modify as
- Provide remote assistance with the technical installation of network hardware
- Monitor network traffic for store and corporate networks
- Identify, diagnose, and resolve escalated technical problems related to network failure and integrity, and usage of PC hardware and software
- Conduct cable and equipment installations
- Test new technologies based on understanding of business and technical needs
- Model behaviors that support the company’s common purpose; ensure guests and team members are supported at the highest level
- Ensure all activities are in compliance with rules, regulations, policies and procedures 10. Complete other duties as assigned
- High school diploma or equivalent certification required; associate degree in computer science or network-related field preferred
- Minimum two years’ network troubleshooting experience preferred Specialized Knowledge
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills required
- Intermediate Microsoft Visio skills required
- Intermediate switching and wireless network knowledge preferred
- Intermediate Wireless networking preferred
- Intermediate Meraki knowledge preferred
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) designation, including CCNA Routing and Switching preferred
- Ability to handle stressful situations
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize
- Ability to be flexible and respond to changing priorities
- Good written and verbal communications
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Strategic thinker with a focus on results
- Travel required less than 25%
