Join Pilot Flying J as a Compensation Analyst!


·   Provide analytical support for a variety ofcompensation functions, systems, and initiatives including but not limited tosalary surveys, compensation planning, annual merit and salary structureadministration, and incentive plan design and maintenance

·   Assist with compensation and salaryadministration programs including but not limited to promotion increases,market adjustments, new hire pay recommendations, and new store job pricing

·   Perform job analysis and evaluation, workingwith managers and HR partners to develop or revise job descriptions; marketprice jobs at all organizational levels

·   Review and analyze internal and external data todevelop pay recommendations, advising managers on individual pay decisions toensure consistency, equity and competitiveness

·   Participate in compensation surveys, matches jobdescriptions to survey positions, and prepares and analyzes survey data

·   Assist in design, implementation and maintenanceof compensation functionality in Infor HR system

·   With the Compensation team, monitor changes inthe competitive and regulatory environment to ensure compensation programs andpractices are competitive and compliant with all applicable laws andregulations

·   Participate in development of compensationpolicies and procedures

·   Assist with bonus plan design, documentation andcommunication

·   Complete other duties as assigned


·   Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institutionis required and preferably in Business Administration, Finance, Human Resourcesor related area. A Master’s or advanced degree is desirable

·   Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience isrequired in compensation, financial analysis, business intelligence or relatedfield

·   CCP certification is highly desirable

·   HR systems experience

·   Strong mathematical aptitude and analyticalskills

·   Advanced Excel skills are required; proficientin entire Microsoft Office suite

·   Knowledge and application of total rewards andcompensation programs, including applicable federal, state and localregulations

·   Excellent interpersonal skills; the ability tobuild and maintain relationships across the organization

·   Ability to work independently as well as inpartnership with the Compensation team and others

·   Strong verbal and written communication skills

·   Ability to maintain attention to detail onmultiple, simultaneous projects/priorities
