Job Description

You will support bank card, fleet card, and checkpayment processing (200 plus forms of payment), settlement, reconciliation,and customer payment experience within the company enterprise.

Essential Functions: 
1. Provide daily payments transaction, file, system, and environmentoperations monitoring
2. Provide payments processing support for the company’s call center helpdesks and infrastructure network operations center (NOC) to includeresponding to inquiries, troubleshooting, and issue analysis across 870plus locations and 20,000 plus processing terminals including point ofsale (POS), quick service restaurant (QSR), and fuel pump terminal types
3. Field, recognize, analyze, and resolve payments system alerts related toavailability, transaction processing errors, file processing errors,vendor/host system issues, and hardware or network connectivity
4. Create and deliver communication detailing system alert issues to allcompany payments stakeholders
5. Research and write SQL queries; analyze data and provide results
6. Implement environment configuration, database updates, and otherapproved production changes as advised by senior Payments Teammembers
7. Work with the Store Support team to implement new store openingsystem configurations and coordinate testing validation
8. Work with senior Payments team members to provide functional testingand regression test validations for payment system updates related toprojects and production support; monitor for bugs and issues inproduction with new functionality
9. Assist with questions or perform analysis on transactions as requestedfor business partners across the organization

- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Minimum one year experience in technical support required

- Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows including Microsoft Office
- Basic technology troubleshooting skills
- Basic understanding of electronic funds transfer (EFT) technology andsystems
- Database experience and knowledge of SQL and the ability to write andunderstand basic queries preferredCompetencies

- Ability to work in a team environment* Ability to work unsupervised for extended periods
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with ability tosuccessfully communicate technical information to a non-technicalaudience

- Travel Travel required less than 5%
- Provide on-call rotations for weekends, vacations, and holidays
- Lift and move POS and other computing hardware as necessary
- Work flexible hours in system critical situations
