Job Description

Are you looking for a digital, creative role that formulates strategies to connect to customers?  Do you have experience with SEO and Google Analytics? Then, this role might be a great fit for you! Pilot Company would like to add a Digital Marketing Specialist to our team to support and execute marketing campaigns across various digital channels, including digital advertising, SEO, and to own web/mobile properties. In addition, in this role you will monitor the campaign’s performance, developing campaign insights, and presenting recommendations for improvement.

What you will do on this team:

  • Assist in formulating strategies to build lasting digital connections with customers and consumers.
  • Work with agency partners to launch optimized digital advertising campaigns and continually monitor and report on performance.
  • Be actively involved in SEO efforts and perform keyword, competitor, industry, and content development research.
  • Maintain SEO backlog and partner with cross-functional teams to drive on-site SEO enhancements and new content.
  • Measure performance of paid media and SEO enhancements using various Web analytics tools.
  • Acquire insight into digital marketing trends and keep strategies up-to-date
  • Maintain partnerships with agencies and vendors.
  • Create and execute unique digital marketing strategies aligned with business goals
  • Develop campaign briefs, track campaign ad spend and KPIs through digital analytics and reporting to ensure strategies are achieving business objectives and producing ROI
  • Prioritize tasks and manage time appropriately to meet short and long-term deadlines
  • Execute continual research and learning to stay aware of trends within our industries and digital marketing.
  • Proactively address issues or concerns related to content and campaign performance and present potential solutions to marketing leadership teams.
  • Maintain CRM tools for audience segmentation to drive value through paid media campaigns.
  • Collaborate and work effectively with internal product and marketing teams to ensure the success of integrated marketing campaigns.
  • High school diploma or equivalent certificate required
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or marketing preferred.
  • 1-3 years of experience using website analytics tools (i.e., Google Analytics)
  • 1-3 years of experience in Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
  • 1-3 years of experience in digital advertising campaign planning and execution.
  • Proven experience delivering effective and innovative digital campaigns
  • Experience managing successful marketing campaigns and a solid understanding of digital marketing.
  • Solid understanding of web metrics digital analytics, with the ability to generate, analyze and interpret data
  • Must be able to work under constant deadline pressure and manage multiple projects across multiple lines of business
  • Skills and experience in creative content writing
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven experience leading/managing SEO, SEM, email, and social media campaigns
  • Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and developing campaigns to inform, engage and motivate consumers
  • Self-motivated, proactive in learning new technology and techniques
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking
  • Ability to adapt and pivot campaigns due to strategic learning
