Job Description

Are you a proactive problem-solver with a strong analytical mindset and a passion for the future of transportation? Pilot Company is seeking an EV Charging Intern for the summer of 2026 at our Knoxville, TN office. This is a unique opportunity to directly support our growing EV charging initiatives by evaluating the market, analyzing key data, and helping to refine our pricing strategies.

In this role, you'll be an integral part of our team, tackling a core project that will provide you with practical, hands-on experience in a dynamic and innovative industry. Your work will directly impact our strategic decisions and help us deliver key findings related to our EV charging pricing strategy. You'll gain valuable insights into a rapidly evolving sector and help us enhance our related data sets.

What You'll Do

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Market Evaluation: Evaluate the EV charging competitor market to help inform our strategic decisions.
  • Cost Analysis: Assist with improving cost estimates and reconciliation for our charging operations.
  • Data Analysis: Conduct analysis on the impact of various factors on charger utilization.
  • Pricing Strategy: Deliver key findings that will contribute to our EV charger pricing strategy.
  • Data Enhancement: Work to enhance our EV charging-related data sets.
Qualifications
  • Education: You should be a student with prior coursework in Statistics or Econometrics.
  • Technical Skills: Strong analytical skills are essential. Proficiency in Excel is required, while experience with SQL, R Shiny, or Tableau is preferred.
  • Soft Skills: You must be an excellent problem-solver, proactive, and solution-oriented. You should also have strong communication skills to present your findings.

Additional Information

This is a full-time, in-person internship, running from June 1 through August 6, 2026. The interview process will include a 30-minute screening with a recruiter followed by an interview with the team leadership.
