Join Pilot Flying J as a 2nd Shift Help Desk Technician - 3:30pm to 12:00 am

The purpose of this job is to provide first level technical support toall company fueling locations and restaurants.


·   Utilize defined help desk processes andprocedures to provide first level technical support to all company fuelinglocations and restaurants including responding to store inquiries

·   Analyze and resolve problems with hardware andsoftware, and provide any additional assistance necessary to ensure a positiveguest experience

·   Monitor system alerts to ensure company sitesare fueling 100% of the time, and troubleshoot and resolve any fueling issuesat store level

·   Assist stores in researching credit cardtransactions and ensure payment has been processed; research and collectinformation for direct bill for failed transactions in order for the company toreceive payment Assist stores and restaurants with cash balancing and the endof day processes; provide limited support for cash recycler issues includingstore personnel observation to clear jams within the recycler

·   Assist with maintaining the integrity of storedatabases; ensure the site is processing sales data correctly; perform basicmaintenance of the database if necessary

·   Troubleshoot hardware issues within stores andif necessary, once replacements have been received, assist stores with the installationof new hardware

·   Assist stores and restaurants with point of sale(POS) hardware and software issues to ensure a positive guest experience;assist with diagnosis and correction of issues with back office computers andprinters Monitor email requests for service and support

·   Model behaviors that support the company’scommon purpose; ensure guests and team members are supported at the highestlevel

·   Ensure all activities are in compliance withrules, regulations, policies, and procedures

·   Complete other duties as assigned


 ·  Highschool diploma or equivalent certification required

 ·  Associatedegree in technology preferred

 ·  Minimumone year help desk experience required

 ·  Basicknowledge of Microsoft Office

 ·  Basicknowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems

 ·  Problemsolving skills

 ·  Attentionto detail

 ·  Abilityto multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment under tightdeadlines

 ·  Abilityto communicate technical information to non-technical users
