Job Description

Shape the strategy and approach to enabling managers and leaders to make better organizational decisions through data. Help the organization streamline and automate approaches to HR data as well as streamline reporting of complex trends. This role will be responsible for organizing and prioritizing enterprise-wide core HR reporting requests, to ensure we have meaningful and accurate data to enable our leaders to make better data-driven people and organizational decisions. In this highly visible role, you will own the creation and implementation of the end-to-end data quality framework and governance model to continuously improve the health of our people data. This role also acts as the gatekeeper for all HR Technology, reporting, and data requests.

  • Develops and leads the HR Data & Reporting capability across the enterprise to encompass a common intake process, thorough requirements gathering, ROI/Business impact assessment, prioritization amongst appropriate stakeholders, and execution of all HR technology, reporting, and data requests
  • Partner closely with stakeholders in HR, Operations, BI, and other areas of IT to ensure customer needs are well understood and thoughtful, scalable solutions are deployed to drive consistency, compliance, and continuous improvement
  • A key partner to HR and the business for information on what HR-related data resides in our various HR systems and advised on HR data approaches to best deliver the desired output, while balancing compliance and efficiency considerations
  • Lead by example in managing projects and designing practical and efficient long-term solutions
  • Leads the preparation and delivery of complex HR reports, ensuring alignment across deliverables, and adherence to overall global reporting strategy
  • Maintains a data dictionary across all of our HR technology platforms
  • Works with business partners and HR Centers of Excellence (COE) subject matter experts to document report requirements based on interpreting customer needs and designs develops and delivers HR reports across various HR technologies
  • Accountable for data integrity continuous improvements, driving the organization to make better data-driven decisions and to find key insights
  • Collaborates with subject matter experts across HR to promote data governance and stewardship, and to improve overall strategic and operational performance and insight
  • Effectively identifies, tracks prioritize, and troubleshoot data issues when they arise in HR applications including various reports, intranet, and other HR systems, in partnership with the HRIS team
  • Identifies HR data collection and storage gaps and help implement solutions to properly collect useful information
  • Develops requirements documentation for various business/HR initiatives
  • Monitors the integrity of HR data through regular audits, troubleshooting irregularities, as well as researching and correcting discrepancies, and ensuring compliance
  • Adheres to the data privacy policy and ensure proper data access rules are applied across the population with access to HR reports
  • Lead, mentor, and further develop future direct reports in designing, testing, and building the tools and processes to report, manage and analyze HR data
  • Model behaviors that support the company’s common purpose; ensure guests and team members are supported at the highest level
  • Ensure all activities are in compliance with rules, regulations, policies, and procedures
  • Complete other duties as assigned


  • Bachelor’s degree in human resource management, MIS, computer science, or a related field OR equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum of five years of experience in HRIS, reporting or related IT/Technical capacity required
  • Minimum of three years of experience in large scale project ownership required
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum Framework highly preferred
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, strong documentation, organizational skills, advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • The ability to understand and translate data needs into concise and presentable reports and presentations
  • Detail-oriented and ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of Infor CloudSuite HCM, GHR, TM, and Lawson S3 preferred
  • Ability to lead, coach, mentor and motivate a diverse team; ensure team and individual accountability and performance standards are met
  • Ability to prioritize, multitask and manage multiple projects successfully in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to convey complex, technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Ability to communicate and interact effectively with different levels of the organization to negotiate, problem solve, complete projects and influence decision making
  • Excellent analytical, strategic and critical thinking skills
