Job Description

We have a few roles to fill, and for these particular Infor Developer and Analyst roles we are looking to add to the Infor development team with skills in the following areas: 

  • Infor ION (Intelligent Open Network)
    • Datalake
    • Workflow
    • API
    • BOD integrations
  • IPA (Infor Process Automation)
    • Process Flow Developer
  • Infor EAM (Enterprise Asset Management)
    • A technical resource with the ability to code Flex Sql
    • Understands BOD integrations
  • Oracle  SQL a plus!

The purpose of this job is to provide support for the various applications, processes, data, and reports utilized by the company, guests, and vendors; develop fixes, features, and enhancements for new and existing applications; serve as project lead.  

1.      Develop and enhance the company’s customer applications and reports created from Infor technology tools

2.      Development of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) application development (Infor) including Infor Process Automation, Configuration Console, Design Studio, and Lawson Business Intelligence

3.       Administration of the ERP (Infor) which includes adding users, modifying security access to the application, applying patches, and performing upgrades as needed

4.      Provide support for Infor addressing user issues as needs arise with day-to-day operations

5.      Provide Infor user maintenance including the addition of new hires and disabling terminated employees

6.      Add new functionality for Infor as products become available

7.      Provide BSI Tax Factory maintenance support

8.      Configure, implement, maintain, and upgrade ERP application modules (e.g., human resources, finance, supply chain management)

9.      Analyze user requirements to determine ERP system configuration and customization

10.   Participate in defining requirements and selecting software vendors as needed

11.   Provide technology solutions to various business issues across the enterprise

12.   Serve as point of contact for business users, app support, and other Developers for questions regarding current applications and processes; provide support for existing applications including troubleshooting and bug fixes

13.   Leverage technology to increase productivity and efficiency at the Sales and Support Center (SSC) and stores as well as provide a superior guest and customer experience

14.   Train support staff and other team members on the proper use and/or troubleshooting of software applications

15.   Collaborate with business users to define and/or clarify requirements for new or modified features

16.   Provide direction and assist less experienced team members through mentoring, collaboration, and code reviews

17.   Determine flow and assignment of tasks to meet milestones, and guide team through agile development process to ensure on-time delivery of high quality final product

18.   Lead project components and perform project management duties for development of applications; oversee work of external resources

19.   Collaborate with business users to define needs; identify technology and develop solution for adding new features, fixes, and enhancements for new and existing applications, processes, and reports

20.   Troubleshoot and analyze issues with applications, processes, data, and reports; determine appropriate action to resolve issues

21.   Collaborate with Developers, Business Analysts, and users to assist in supporting day-to-day business functions

22.   Create new documentation and update existing documentation for IT systems and process; determine the related format, process, and diagrams to use in the creation of materials

23.   Model behaviors that support the company’s common purpose; ensure guests and team members are supported at the highest level

24.   Ensure all activities are in compliance with rules, regulations, policies and procedures

25.   Complete other duties as assigned



·        Associate degree required; bachelor’s degree preferred, preferably in computer science or MIS

·        Microsoft .Net development experience preferred

·        Minimum seven years’ experience in application development

Specialized Knowledge

·        Windows Systems Administration and batch scripting preferred

·        General understanding of ERP HCM and EFM systems required

·        Working knowledge of HTML, Perl, and Java Scripts prefered

·        Skilled in PL/SQL or T/SQL 

-        Infor Landmark LPL Coding Preferred

·        Demonstrated knowledge of software development in a modern programming language required

·        Knowledge of SQL and the ability to write and understand complex queries preferred

·        Expert level of knowledge of business processes and system integration

·        Understanding and adherence to software development standards, guidelines, and protocols


·        Able to understand moderately complex business and technical solutions

·        Ability to interpret established procedures and exercise judgment to resolve complex issues

·        Ability to determine the best technology solutions to resolve problems

·        Ability to write and understand complex programming queries

·        Ability to utilize project management methodologies to achieve development objectives

·        Ability to communicate technical concepts and solutions to non-technical users

·        Ability to multi-task and handle changing priorities

·        Ability to self-motivate and meet tight deadlines

·        Ability to work in a team environment

·        Strong verbal and written communication skills
