Pay Rates Starting around: $26-30/hour
The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for maximizing SC Fuels market share, profitability, efficiency and customer satisfaction within a defined set of accounts. The Inside Sales Representative will maintain customer relationship and technical fulfillment of products and services by executing strategies for growth, customer retention, competitive displacement and customer satisfaction within assigned accounts (book of business). The Inside Sales Representative will partner with other sales team members to maintain and grow market share through the development of new account relationships.
Maintain and Grow Volume and Margins within Assigned Accounts. Ensure profitability of SC Fuels products and services is maximized in account. Establish relationships with assigned customers and correspond with regularly via telephone and or email to reinforce SC Fuels relationship with the customer. Identify and convert sales opportunities into incremental business growth. Sell deeper into current accounts and identify opportunities to acquire additional business (share of wallet). Maintain and update customer profiles and provide accurate forecasts/pipeline tracking within the SC Fuels sales process. Coordinate internal resources and external contacts to add value within accounts and drive profitable business expansion.
Provide Account Management and First Level Customer Support. Coordinate the sales and operational resources supporting assigned accounts to ensure complete customer satisfaction. Serve as the first point of contact for all customer requirements involving SC Fuels products and solutions in assigned accounts. Understand customer's business goals and strategies to assess needs and opportunities. Handle technical inquiries related to our products to support Account Managers, and Business Development Managers. Work closely with operations and credit in order to create a best in class customer experience and improve SC Fuels perceived value as a service provider. Understand SC Fuels resources available to support the customer and articulate SC Fuels capability and value proposition.
Team Selling. Work closely with Territory Managers to quote and follow up on quotes to customers. When time permits, cold call leads and prospective customers and pass leads on to sales management as appropriate. Ensure that new and existing customers are transitioned from Territory Managers in a manner that is non disruptive to the customer’s operation, delivers on our commitments to them, and retains them as a customer.
- A college degree or equivalent experience and demonstrated success in sales, account management and technical support.
- Highly motivated individual with 1-3 years of relevant industry sales experience.
