Job Description

The purpose of this job is to support team member communication and engagement. This role supports the internal communications team in connecting team members with the information they need to succeed in their jobs.

Essential Functions

  1. Write and prepare content for various communication channels, including the company portal, internal newsletters, and emails.
  2. Assist with creation and delivery of corporate communications to multi-audience segments.
  3. Research, plan, write and deliver stories that engage, educate and inform audiences.
  4. Assist with reporting, tracking and planning all communication efforts.
  5. Assist with preparation of communication assets, including presentations, scripts, and speeches.
  6. Process intake of communication requests from internal clients.
  7. Design, lay out and edit materials for print and electronic delivery.
  8. Assist with other internal or external communication tasks, as needed.
  9. Assist with overall Communications Department operations.
  10. Review materials to ensure they are aligned with brand standards, company policies and values.
  11. Model behaviors that support the company’s common purpose; ensure guests and team members are supported at the highest level
  12. Ensure all activities are in compliance with rules, regulations, policies, and procedures
  13. Complete other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations, journalism, English, or similar field required
  • Minimum two years of experience within a communications role required.
  • Portfolio of work demonstrating writing and creative experience and skills required

Specialized Knowledge

  •  Advanced Microsoft Office skills
  • Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop
  • Associated Press (AP) style writing knowledge
