Job Description

The IT Change Control Manager will lead our IT Change Control Operations. They will play a vital role in defining and managing the IT Change Management process across the organization. They will ensure Changes are accurately logged, reviewed, and approved, while maintaining and enforcing the processes and procedures that govern IT Change Management. This role will drive IT Change communication and planning across the IT and Business organizations. The main function of this role is to foster production stability and change enablement.

  • Manage and coordinate all meetings and activities necessary to control, track and audit IT Changes. This includes leading the daily Change Advisory Board (CAB).
  • Conduct other regularly scheduled and emergency meetings.
  • Monitor all departments for compliance with Change Management policies and procedures, and provide Team Member instruction, as required to maintain compliance.
  • Drive the reduction on the number of expedited Changes due to lack of planning.
  • Develop and distribute reports and visual dashboards related to all Change activities. Establish KPIs and hold teams accountable to meeting those.
  • Act as the point of reference for questions, problems, suggestions about the Change Management system, then adapt as required, Education, Process, Procedure, Tooling, etc.
  • Drive faster adoption of IT Change Control across the organization.
  • Work closely with Security, QA, Dev, and Data teams to coordinate and manage Change Requests through all phases of their lifecycle.
  • Provide Change Management procedure, tool training, and ongoing education, as necessary.
  • Facilitate leadership collaboration to distinguish Change Management process changes and roadmap.

·        Ensure all activities are in compliance with rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.

Qualifications
  • ·        Bachelor’s degree in Technology, Business or related field preferred
  • ·        Knowledge of ITIL and ITSM best practices
  • ·        Knowledge of data analysis
  • ·        Familiar with IT reporting structures

Specialized knowledge: ·      

  • Advanced level Microsoft Office skills
  • ·       Knowledge of IT Change Control processes
  • ·       Knowledge of software delivery and practices (Scrum, Waterfall, Kanban, etc.)
  • ·       Jira and Confluence knowledge preferred

Travel / working conditions: ·   

  •     Travel required less than 5%
  • ·       General office work requiring sitting or standing for long periods of time
  • ·       If necessary, work hours outside of normal business operations (i.e. before 8am, after 5pm)
