Job Description

1. Negotiate and execute physical and financial derivatives and other structured transactions
2. Lead external deal team through the transaction life cycle from origination through closing and integration
3. Create models of risk assessments and predictive multi-variable scenario analyses using advanced statistical modeling and
4. Deliver opportunity assessment and strategy recommendations to company stakeholders; identify potential impediments
to successful completion of merger and acquisition processes
5. Mentor less experienced Team Members
6. Model behaviors that support the company’s common purpose; ensure guests and team members are supported at the
highest level
7. Ensure all activities are in compliance with rules, regulations, policies, and procedures
8. Complete other duties as assigned


· Master’s degree in management, finance, advanced statistics, mathematics or related field required
· Minimum five years’ experience leading corporate merger and acquisition activities required
· Advanced Microsoft Office skills required
· Experience working in the upstream and midstream oil and gas industry
· Experience with quantified and probabilistic approaches to decision-making
· Understanding of stochastic probability, investment science and accounting
· Excellent analytical, problem solving and critical thinking skills
