Pilot Company’s professional internship designed to provide on-the-job training and experience to recent college graduates. Engages in various work assignments, projects, and activities of varying complexity, structured to enable the intern to gain the necessary knowledge, skills and abilities needed to perform at a professional level, typically identified with a targeted exempt position. Receives training and mentorship in planning and carrying out activities and assignments. This is a 10-week paid internship program.
The Enterprise Applications (Salesforce) Summer Intern will gain hands-on experience working with cutting-edge CRM platforms that support our customer network. This internship offers a unique opportunity to explore how technology drives business processes, from billing and collections to enterprise-wide CRM solutions. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to support critical business applications, optimize workflows, and contribute to strategic projects that impact our operations nationwide.
* CRM Support & Development: Assist in managing and enhancing Salesforce and other CRM platforms used across the enterprise.
* Billing & Collections Integration: Support projects related to billing and collections processes, helping optimize systems that manage multibillion-dollar transactions with customers.
* Flow Design & Automation: Design and implement process flows to improve business efficiency, including creating automated workflows within Salesforce.
* Click Work & Configuration: Perform click-based development (no-code/low-code), including setting up dashboards, reports, and user interfaces tailored to business needs.
* Application Development: Participate in the development lifecycle, contributing to coding tasks, though this role will not involve full-time coding responsibilities.
* Business Process Improvement: Analyze current processes, identify areas for improvement, and assist in implementing technology-driven solutions.
* Collaboration: Work closely with enterprise application teams, business stakeholders, and IT professionals to support project goals and deliverables.
We are seeking eager-to-learn individuals who are passionate about technology, business processes, and CRM systems. Ideal candidates will have:
* Strong interest in enterprise applications, Salesforce, or related CRM platforms
* Basic knowledge of process flows, business analysis, or system configuration
* Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills
* Some exposure to coding/development is a plus but not required
Preferred Qualifications:
* Currently pursuing a rising Junior or Senior degree seeking student in Information Technology, Business, Computer Science, or a related field
* Familiarity with Salesforce or other CRM systems
* Experience with basic coding (e.g., Python, JavaScript, or similar) is a bonus
