Job Description

The purpose of this job is to support the Insurance team and the Workers’ Compensation claims team.

  1. Assist Insurance Analyst with monthly reports, review and pay claims handling/insurance/TPA invoices, troubleshoot certificate of insurance requests, order office supplies, etc.
  2. Assist Workers' Comp team - WC Background Training including Origami. Gain an understanding of basic WC programs at Pilot to include carrier and 18 state self-insured programs. Assign claims, maintain medical provider panels, assist adjusters as needed, open and distribute mail to Risk team members
  3. Back-up to Self-Insurance Coordinator train on all self-insurance processes to include completing annual renewal applications, assessment reports, loss runs, bond renewals, etc. as required by each jurisdiction.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent certification required
  • Associates degree in business or related field preferred
  • Minimum two years experience in related work experience preferred

Specialized Knowledge 

  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
  • Strong Excel skills
