Job Description

Are you a highly motivated and detail-oriented student looking to launch your career in sales? Pilot Company is seeking a Sales Intern to join our team in Dallas, Texas, for the summer of 2026. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience and directly impact our sales cycle, from lead to active customer. 

In this role, you'll be an essential part of the sales team, focusing on improving visibility into the full customer journey. You will help identify friction points, optimize handoffs, and drive faster time to fuel for new customers. This internship is perfect for a student who is ready to take on a challenge and play a key role in supporting our revenue growth and customer retention efforts. 

What You’ll Do 

  • Support the full sales cycle by tracking the status of submitted opportunities and coordinating with internal teams like credit and onboarding. 
  • Reduce the lift for sales representatives by proactively following up with customers and ensuring a smooth transition to fueling. 
  • Improve conversion rates from opportunity submission to active fueling customers. 
  • Document gaps and inconsistencies in the end-to-end sales process from both the representative's and the customer's point of view. 
  • Assist sales managers and trainers by surfacing trends, common blockers, and process gaps to improve efficiency. 
Qualifications
  • A student pursuing a degree in business, finance, supply chain, psychology, or a related field. 
  • A senior (set to graduate in May or December 2026) is preferred. 
  • Strong communication, active listening, and collaboration skills. 
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong time management skills. 
  • Experience with CRM systems like Salesforce and proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite are a plus. 
  • An adaptable and reliable individual with a genuine passion for sales and problem-solving.

This is a full-time, in-person internship, running from June 1-August 6, 2026 You’ll be working alongside our team at our Dallas, TX office, where you'll have the opportunity to build meaningful relationships and experience the full scope of life at Pilot Company.
