The purpose of this job is to maximize company profits through analysis, reporting, data management, and evaluating compliance of processes and procedures in regards to deal processing.

Essential Functions

1.Analyze competitive market strategies through analysis of related product and market trends to support the company’s strategic initiatives

2.Mine data from the internet, customers, suppliers, professional organizations, industry reports, surveys, public information, and field reports and craft recommendations for action

3.Manage timely flow of reports and recommendations to members of the sales team

4.Establish and maintain constructive and cooperative interpersonal relationships with members of the sales and pricing teams

5.Establish and maintain professional working relationships with customers and team members

6.Synthesize and communicate complex information, providing immediate access and value

7.Collaborate with cross-functional teams on special projects and company initiatives that grow sales and increase gross profit dollars

8.Model behaviors that support the company’s common purpose; ensure guests and team members are supported at the highest level

9.Ensure all activities are in compliance with rules, regulations, policies, and procedures

10.Complete other duties as assigned


* Bachelor’s degree required

* Master’s degree preferred

* Minimum three years’ data mining and analysis experience required


* Understand key concepts and terminology used in fuel and trucking industry

* Knowledge of company products and offerings

* Advanced CRM software skills (preferably Salesforce)

* Intermediate knowledge of Tableau

* Intermediate skills using information retrieval and search software

* Intermediate Microsoft Office skills

* Superior attention to detail

* Ability to think strategically with strong problem and situation analysis skills

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills

* Excellent customer service, internal networking, and teamwork skills

* Time and resource allocation skills

* Superior computation and calculation skills
