Job Description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following under direct supervision:

* Insures proper invoicing of all his/her sales.
* Provides documentation to the Manager for all commissions and other incentives as required.
* Endeavors to communicate with every guest to insure expectations are met and opportunities for add on sales are identified and pursued.
* Presents a professional, friendly and courteous image to guests and team members, even when handling non-routine situations.
* Greets every guest at their vehicle when at all possible to obtain the vehicle information and type of service.
* Maintains product knowledge for all inventory items so as to be able to explain features and benefits and over come objections.
* Assesses value of trade-in tires and provides quotes to the customer within guidelines set by the Shop Manager.
* Ensures all transactions are handled according to company policy.
* Assures security of cash drawer and inventory during shift.
* When entering the shop safety glasses must be worn at all times. It is required to pay close attention to safety practices in bay like Lock Out / Tag Out, wheel chocks and jack stands are in use.
* Staging of trucks to recognize time waiting targets are achieved and promise made to guests are met.
* Other duties may be assigned.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

* Ability to operate a computer terminal.
* Knowledgeable in truck tires, truck components, and truck preventative maintenance.
* Sales experience.
* Language skills.
* Mathematical skills.
* Problem solving and reasoning ability.
* All past training certificates, licenses and program registrations are welcome.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
The physical demands described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

* Occasionally lift and carry items up to 100 lbs. Example; rolling commercial truck tires from tire racking to vehicle being worked on.
* Using a hand truck dolly to move case goods.
* In house training to be able to safety operate forklift with tire cage.
* Climb ladders to get product on higher shelving.
* Stand/walk for up to 8 hours.
* Sit for periods up to 4 hours.
* Must possess and maintain a current and valid driver’s license with appropriate insurance coverage.
* Operate computers efficiently. Requires good vision, hand coordination, fine motor skills and manual dexterity.
* Work irregular hours in exterior and interior conditions.
