The purpose of this job is to provide product and services sourcing as well as store support encompassing response and resolution to store needs and problems.
In this role you will:
- Comprehensive contract review including redlines of issues / areas of concern identified for management review.
- Lead contract review with legal and all business stakeholders; ability to interact with department leaders.
- SME on products & services and can identify advantages and disadvantages in contract terms and language.
- Communicate with vendors, contractors and suppliers to resolve problems that may arise relating to issues with delivery, quality, price or conditions of sale.
- Oversee and coordinate product and services roll-outs with business team members.
- Proficient pricing negotiation / ability to leverage multiple negotiation methods with multiple vendors to achieve best financial results. Manage complex negotiations independently.
- Comprehensive understanding of Pilot Business units to achieve quick results.
- Identify and lead process improvement activity within the department and organization.
- Seek out and investigate new opportunities within product and service categories. Present key opportunities to leadership.
- Independent work stream management.
- Bachelors Degree in Supply Chain, Business or related field and 4+ years of relevant experience
- Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Office skills
- Ability to multitask
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Effective problem solving and situation analysis skills
- Strong organizational and follow-up skills
- Effective financial modeling skills
- Ability to collect, thoroughly analyze and draw insights / make recommendations from data
