Job Description

The purpose of this job is to design, maintain, and upgrade critical components of the network information technology (IT) infrastructure including the data center infrastructure.

Essential Functions

1. Manage and execute IT server infrastructure projects to improve the efficiency, availability, and performance of the company’s systems
2. Determine project specifications and review quotes for projects based on specifications
3. Architect, implement, and build physical and virtual infrastructure for assigned projects
4. Ensure the timely and appropriate resolution of complex performance and availability issues
5. Mentor, train, and provide guidance to Network Engineers I and II
6. Verify project plans and quotes from Network Engineers I and II
7. Negotiate cost of software and hardware with vendors
8. Ensure alignment of system infrastructure projects with company priorities
9. Provide feedback on issues to appropriate developers and IT team members to improve functionality and performance
10. Model behaviors that support the company’s common purpose; ensure guests and team members are supported at the highest level
11. Ensure all activities are in compliance with rules, regulations, policies, and procedures
12. Complete other duties as assigned

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent certification required
  • Associate degree in computer science or related field preferred
  • Minimum 10 years’ relevant experience required
