Job Description

The purpose of this job is to lead projects and develop processes to ensure software reliability, quality automation, and consistent automation standards.


Essential Functions

1. Oversee, develop, modify and maintain an automated software test framework, related scripts and integrations

2. Support and execute automated test software and software tools

3. Identify and incorporate appropriate framework and tools to automate software testing; consolidate and evaluate information to identify opportunities for improving software processes

4. Collaborate with peers and implement proposals to address process gaps

5. Create and maintain automated test software design specifications, interface descriptions and other software documentation; may act as documentation owner for projects

6. Provide estimates of necessary project resources and timelines to management

7. Manage source code using Source Code Management (SCM) tools (e.g. SVN, Git, and Source Tree), processes and procedures

8. Model behaviors that support the company’s common purpose; ensure guests and team members are supported at the highest level

9. Ensure all activities are in compliance with rules, regulations, policies, and procedures

10. Complete other duties as assigned


Qualifications

* Associate degree in computer science, computer engineering or equivalent related work experience required or a minimum of five years’ operational or IT support experience within the company required

* Minimum five years’ quality assurance testing experience required

* Minimum three years’ experience in developing, maintaining and executing automated tests required

* Test automation certification preferred


Specialized Knowledge

* Advanced Microsoft Office skills required

* Advanced knowledge of generating SQL queries including SQL scripts to create or validate testing data

* Proficiency in at least one embedded or cloud-based programming language, preferably JavaScript, C or C#

* Advanced knowledge of Selenium web driver and other industry-standard automation tools

* Extensive experience in testing of API (i.e., Rest and Soap) and web-based applications

* Advanced understanding and experience with performance and load testing

* Experience in designing and implementing build pipeline

* Experience in implementation of continuous integration systems
