The purpose of this position is to repair/replace and assist with required maintenance of facility equipment. The ideal candidate for this position has an aptitude for mechanical and electrical devices and a willingness to understand sophisticated components of multiple facilities.
In this role you will:
- Perform PM maintenance for system pumps, not limited to: changing pump oil, grease bearings, maintain associated pump motors, troubleshooting pump related problems
- Perform new pump installation, not limited to: initial data analysis, pump alignment, vibration analysis, facility start-up and troubleshooting, creating/completing required checklists and maintaining spare parts inventory
- Perform general electrical work, including but not limited to: running conduit and pulling wire, assist with programable logic control implementation, assist with configuration and oversight of facility security devices, and installation of new process motor and testing
- Perform all maintenance and compliance inspections (e.g., daily, monthly, quarterly, annual); maintain required logs and report all equipment failures to supervisor
- Train other personnel to complete required inspections
- Perform data collection for data analysis and interpreting data sets for maximizing equipment performance and life expectancy
- Repair/replace/calibrate all components, parts, and aspects of: Load Racks, offloading systems, Vapor Recovery and Vapor Combustion, Additive Systems, and vapor balancing systems at required facilities
- Repair/replace/maintain equipment for transloading operations, including but not limited to metering components, control devices, and data collection systems
- Implementing safety devices for transferring petroleum products from one vessel to another
- Perform safety inspections at facility and recognize and report hazardous conditions to leadership
- Ability to travel to other facilities to assist with similar tasks as required
- Ability to source parts and material to complete tasks
- High school diploma or equivalent certificate required
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record required
- Minimum two years’ industry and/or terminal loading system experience preferred
- Hazmat Ground Shipper Certification (DOT)
- HAZWOPER certification preferred
- Programable Logic Control (PLC) experience preferred
- Strong mechanical aptitude and experience required
- Basic electrical aptitude and experience preferred
- General knowledge of bulk storage loading racks and automation systems
