Job Description

Do you enjoy leading and developing other team members? Are you a pro at meeting production goals? Have you managed a warehouse? If you answered yes to those questions this position might be the perfect fit for you!  Pilot Company would like to add a Warehouse Manager to provide leadership to the parts warehouse team members and manage all aspects of warehouse safety and operations. And, you will be able to build and lead a brand new team in this role.

On this team you will:

  • Oversee, lead, and set priorities for the parts warehouse team
  • Select, coach, train, and develop direct reports, to include appraising job performance and conducting performance reviews
  • Enforce all safety policies and procedures
  • Maintain physical condition of warehouse, tools and equipment;
  • budget, schedule and coordinate repairs and requisitions for
  • replacement
  • Oversee receiving, warehousing and distribution operations
  • Develop warehouse layout, product flow and handling systems; ensure
  • efficient space utilization
  • Control and manage inventory; reconcile with data storage system;
  • investigate discrepancies
  • Liaise with customers, suppliers and transport companies
  • Maintain and generate reports to monitor key performance indicators
  • Ensure quality of service and customer satisfaction; resolve conflicts
  • Model behaviors that support the company’s common purpose; ensure
  • guests and team members are supported at the highest level
  • Ensure all activities are in compliance with rules, regulations, policies, and procedures
  • High school diploma or equivalent certificate required
  • Associate degree in business or computer science preferred
  • Five years of experience managing a warehouse 
  • Forklift certification required
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
  • Experience with order fulfillment and automated warehouse management systems
  • Knowledge of best practices for warehouse management
  • Excellent organization, administrative, and managerial skills
  • Ability to lead and create a team environment
  • Excellent problem-solving skills within a deadline driven environment while ensuring safety and inventory accuracy
  • Detail oriented with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • General office work requiring sitting or standing for long periods of time
  • Exposure to various weather conditions, temperatures and noises
  • Lift and move up to 45 pounds
  • Stoop, bend, and reach
